Can two canvas which has various sub pads also merged like histo

Dear expert, I want to know can two same canvas which has various sub pads from differnent root files also merged like histogram, as I know “hadd” doenot work for canvas. I want to know how the marging is handling in QC. so main point is can we create QC object inside canvas?

Hi,

I am not sure that I have fully understood the question. Are you asking about running QC in the synchronous processing or the asynchronous processing (i.e. on the Grid) ? For what detector do you develop QC ?

In general one can produce a canvas in a QC task and it can be merged.

for TRD , https://qcg-test.cern.ch/?page=objectView&objectName=qc/TRD/MO/test_can-4/ADCTB_SM-00-05 these canvas are published during synchronize process. but for latter process(e.g asynchronous process) are they marge normally?
