Email topic creation and replies is disabled

There used to be the possibility to reply to a topic or create a new one via email (replying to notifications for instance). It stopped working some time ago and because the email used for it was setup by Dario and I do not have the credentials I cannot fix it.

Before I try to re-set it up with a service account email, I would like to know whether people were actually using this feature or not. Please let me know.
