Error installing O2 and O2Physics

Dear all,

I was trying to install O2 and O2Physics following the steps with

The error came up where

aliBuild build O2Physics --defaults o2

The error is below
==> Building UUID@v2.27.1
==> UUID is being built (use --debug for full output): failed
ERROR: Error while executing /home/woo/alice/sw/SPECS/ubuntu2004_x86-64/UUID/v2.27.1-local1/build.sh on `DESKTOP-IS782LE’.
ERROR: Log can be found in /home/woo/alice/sw/BUILD/UUID-latest/log
ERROR: Please upload it to CERNBox/Dropbox if you intend to request support.
ERROR: Build directory is /home/woo/alice/sw/BUILD/UUID-latest/UUID.

Hi @kwoo, are you sure you followed all of the steps? The page you give links to:

https://alice-doc.github.io/alice-analysis-tutorial/building/custom.html

…and specifically, that tells you that to build on Ubuntu 20.04, you need to install some system packages:

Sorry for the late reply. Actually, I am still building it.
I thought that following the webpage https://alisw.github.io/alibuild/ was enough to install alibuild.
