Feature Request: GIT clean flag

Dear CRU team,

it is highly appreciated that the FW contains the GIT hash, that helps a lot. Could you please also add the GIT status (clean/not clean) flag? Otherwise the GIT hash becomes a bit meaningless since one doesn’t know if the compile was based on a clean repo or not.

Hello,

It was there at a moment. Usually, we tend to release only bitstream with consistent hashes. But here we were rushing to provide you the feature you requested. This will be added again later on.

great! Was aware that you guys are very busy (in particular with our stuff!). Is not an urgent request, just wanted to write it down before my squirrel brain forgets it ;-).

Hi,

The feature was still available in the firmware, but not in the software anymore. It is reincluded in the develop branch, you’ll have it on the next release.
