No DCS SOR timeout in ECS for Run3?

Dear ECS experts,

The ECS finishes the “Create” procedure w/o waiting for the DCS SOR to be completed. I do not see any info/warning/error on DCS SOR timeout in the InfoLogger either.

Not a big issue for EMC for the current tests, but would be good if we could make sure the SOR is properly completed before starting the data taking.

I have implemented a delay in EMC DCS SOR and can demonstrate it if needed. Tested with FLP suite 0.20

Hello Martin, I checked with Teo and the feature needs a modification in the ECS-DCS API. Teo will follow this up, but some time will be needed to have the required functionality in place.
