Wrong spelling for ROOT package

Dear experts,

I’m trying to build O2Physics on MacOS Catalina with aliBuild build O2Physics --defaults o2 and I get the following error:

ERROR: The following development packages have wrong spelling: ROOT.
ERROR: Please check your local checkout and adapt to the correct one indicated.

Any hint? Thanks!

You have a folder named “root” (lowercase) which should either be removed or renamed to ROOT (uppercase).

Thanks @eulisse, the problem was indeed a local root installation I built in the same directory as the ALICE software!
